Do penis enlargement supplements really work? Now there’s a question asked by God knows how many men!
There use to be this typical ridiculous commercial on television that was from a snake-oil sales outfit called "Longitude." They claimed that by taking their pills, your penis will enlarge by one inch in 30 days. This commercial had the typical very attractive woman in a bikini telling the male viewers that women want a man with a huge penis; that it is very important to them. Her name was Amy Lynn, a Penthouse pet. WOW! Impressive! Hardly. She said: "Hey, guys. Have you ever wondered what women secretly say behind their lover’s back? In a recent study, 67% said that they were unhappy with the size of their male partner. Turns out size does matter to us after all." It's the typical sales pitch.
"Recent study," huh? Yeah, okay. There’s a study we all can believe in. She went on by saying that Longitude has documented success in male girth up to 3 full inches, and that results are evident in 3 short weeks. She ends it by saying: "So take it from me, a Penthouse pet, muscles, money and looks matter, but women really want a bigger man." Typical.
Longitude was shut down in 2000 by the F.D.A. (Food and Drug Administration the F.C.C. (Federal communications Corp.) for lying about what is inside their pills, and for other dealings. Since then, they more than likely started back up another name.
Okay, now it is time for you to use your common sense. First of all, no ingredient can do such a thing, because your penis is made of muscle, and the only way to enlarge any kind of muscle is to work out with weights, and you can't increase the size of that particular muscle for the obvious reason. Even if there was a way, the girth would enlarge, not the length. Just like every other muscle in your body. That’s the way muscle works.
And here's another thing, and think for one second: If these pills really do work, why aren’t pharmacies carrying them, like they carry Viagra?
The following are legitimate herbs that do help the blood circulate, among other health benefits, but snake-oil outfits that peddle their garbage make it out more than it really is. They say that these are the kinds of herbs that are in their capsules, and that it can enlarge the penis, because it increases more than the usual blood flow to that region.
Ginkgo Biloba
Zinc Nettle Leaf
Yohimbe Cayenne
Maca Pumpkin Seed
Catuaba Sarsaparilla
Muira Pauma Licorice Root
Oyster meat Astragalus
I-Arginne Tribulus
OatStraw Ginseng
Maca Root
Yohimbe Bark
Cuscuta Seed
Again, these herbs does help increase the blood circulation throughout the whole body, among other things, but, it takes A LOT to do it. So much that man-made medicines had to be created. Herbs do help out with our health, but they still have little effect. If they did legitimate doctors would be carrying them.
Viagra doesn't carry not one herb, because such herbs simply do not work to the point of increasing blood circulation to the penis area.
How These People Protect Themselves From Being Shut Down
And / Or Prosecuted And From Being Sued By You, The Consumer
During the past few years, these con artists have gotten smart. They know that they can easily be shut down or prosecuted by the authorities, like the Attorney General's office. Which, by the way, many have already been shut down. So, these people now play it much smarter. To protect themselves, they say that "it is used for men who can't get a full erection, due to poor blood circulation. For men who can get get their penis to only half its size, the herbs contained, could, increase the blood flow in that area, thus giving them a full erection." This covers their butt for when they say that their product can add 2-3 inches to a penis. They also say that "results can vary." It's a smart way of covering their butts. Lawyers must have helped them out.
From the beginning, some con artist, maybe not from Longitude, came up with a brilliant idea to make some fast money by making these herbs out to be more than they can actually do, which isn’t much to begin with. (Besides, more than likely there isn't that many herbs, if any at all, in these pills.) Since then, there are now thousands of others who have jumped on the bandwagon with similar exclaims, and similar ingredients.
Just take a look at the Internet! You see some sites that have words like:
"Give your woman what she wants."
"Dedicated team of researchers...."
"Medically proven...."
"Doctor Approved,"
"Clinically tested...."
""A recent clinical study has validated it's potency."
And so on, and so on. Then you get pictures of these shysters dressed in a doctor's coat. Some have a stethoscope around their neck. Oh, they go all out to rip you off.
A good example of such a snake-oil sales outfit is albionmedical.com With this particular site, they may or may not be doctors, but just keep in mind that if there are doctors involved in this scam, it means they have no ethics.
Remember these two things:
1. If these work so well, why aren't pharmacies carrying them?
2. There were thousands of, legitimate, labs from around the world when trying to find the cure to male impotence before one came up with Viagra. Yet there is nothing about these other pills you see advertised on the Internet, or in ridiculous commercials. It's a worldwide scam that works only on men who don't use their common sense.
Basically all of these snake-oil people say the same thing: The more blood that goes into the penis, the larger it becomes. One Internet site states:
An erection occurs when the penis fills with blood. A small amount of blood enters the Corpus Spongiosum, which is the chamber used primarily for urination and ejaculation. The remainder of the blood enters the Corpus Cavernosum, which is a sponge-like tissue that acts as the main blood-holding chamber of the penis. Penis size is limited in terms of length and girth by the capacity of the Corpus Cavernosum. It would be impossible for your penis to grow larger in itself, since, when a full erection occurs, the blood, which enters the penis is already expanding the Corpus Cavernosum to its maximum capacity. As a result, the only true method of penis enlargement is to expand the actual blood-holding capacity of the Corpus Cavernosum. By forcing more blood into that canal, it will, overtime, become larger and larger, then, in turn, your penis will become larger and larger.
That’s basically all of these shyster’s selling point. Yes, there are many such legitimate herbs that have been known to increase blood flow throughout the body, not just in the penis region, and it has been proven to do just that, such as the ones listed, but it doesn’t give you a larger penis by the method you just read. It is physically impossible, because…the blood flow still wouldn’t be strong enough to stretch the CORPUS CAVERNOSUM. Again, use your common sense.
When they were in business, the peddlers of Longitude said that their pills had many of these herbs. This was proven not to be true, which was one of the reasons why they were pulled from the airwaves. Many shysters now have the herbs, but, here's the catch: How much is in each capsule? It is more than likely just a trace of each ingredient.
There was another company with the same claims, but they didn’t list the ingredients. You take two pills a day, and voila, you have grown several inches to your penis. We had the pills analyzed, and the lab told us that it was made mostly of sugar and flour, with only small traces of Ginseng, Nettle leaf, Catuaba and Cayenne. ... VERY small traces.
If you want to know more about these herbs, read TODAY’S HERBAL HEALTH, by Louise Tenney, M.H. It lists many of them that does increases blood flow, but not as much as one may expect. It would take a lot. Just keep in mind that the blood flow is not strong enough to add inches to the penis. It’s quite an imaginative idea for ripping people off.
With some of these snake-oil sales outfits, they state in their web sites that they have 24-hour support from "trained specialists." Yeah, right. I called a several of these numbers, and it went straight to an answering machine. What a surprise. There are no "trained specialists" or a "trained medical staff."
You may think: “What the hell. Why not? It’s backed by a 100% guarantee.”
Well, let’s take a closer look at this 100% guarantee. Did you know that with some of these outfits they will still rip you off? Say you finish half the bottle, and you see no results. You return it, asking for your money back, but they come back saying that all the pills have to be used to receive the desired results. And then when you do finish the rest of the pills, they don’t bother returning your calls. What are you going to do, sue them, for what, $50.00, the price for the pills? The filing fee will cost you at $30.00. Then you have to take a day off from work. It isn’t worth it. This is how many of these shysters get away with it. Ignore such guarantees on ANY product. (With anything you buy, if it can’t be bought through the store, don’t buy it.) Besides, many of them have an escape clause. On the bottle it may read: Results may vary. It’s a play of words. So much for those guarantees.
Also, on a couple of these sites, we found where they stated that it has been "clinically analyzed." So what? We had one product clinically analyzed, and it showed it to be nothing but worthless crap. If they are stating that is has been clinically analyzed, why aren’t the results shown? Which they didn't.
There is yet another one web site, massivemember.com that states that their program has been rated #1 by MEN’S FITNESS. We called MEN’S FITNESS and asked about it. It was news to the person we spoke with. The representative has have never heard of this site. This site has testimonials from past customers (supposedly), but there isn’t one from MEN’S FITNESS??? Well now, isn’t that strange.
They also claim to be able to enlarge your penis up to 4 full inches, but they don’t tell you how it is done. Surprise!
Like we mentioned before, if these supplements work so great, why aren’t pharmacies carrying them, like they do with Viagra??? Now there’s a product that works. For years medical / drug labs throughout the entire world have been trying to come up with a drug to prevent impotency in men. You don’t think all these labs, which probably run into the thousands, haven’t already tested the herbs you just read? So it’s pretty obvious these "amazing natural remedies" aren’t much help.
Do you know that there is not one herb in Viagra? Now there’s a clue for you. To know more about this product, how it works, and its ingredients, call 1-800-438-1985, or, visit viagra.com
Penis Pumps
Here is another gimmick that has made makers millions of dollars. Penis pumps. As long as there are dumb men out there, these things will sell. There are hundreds of different styles, and with that are probably hundreds of different claims!
Here is a typical sales pitch that you may have read on the Internet:
All penis enlargement pumps operate on essentially the same premise. If you increase blow flow to the shaft and tip of the penis and maintain continuous flow to the area for a period of time each session, you will build up the size and width of the penis. By keeping the penis in a heightened state of arousal and pulling blood into the shaft, the muscles of the penis are enlarged and strengthened. The muscle tissue expands to the maximum, breaks down, and then rebuilds into larger and stronger muscles, similar to body-building.
On the surface it would make sense, but if you think about it, and use your common sense, you will see it as a cleverly-designed sales pitch from snake-oil salespeople. The muscle tissue does not get broken down, like what is done through working out with weights, because there is not enough force from the blood flow to do this. And just like the pills, if this works, why aren't doctors, who specialize in men's impotency, recommending them? Why aren't they in pharmacies? The only places that it can be found are in Adult toy stores, the back of men's magazines and from the Internet. What does that tell you?
Penis pumps can't even bring the blood to the penis to the point of making it erect, because the only thing that can do that is your...HEART! Here's a crude, but experiment to try. Do you have a vacuum cleaner? It does the same thing as a pump does. It sucks the air in from around your penis. It's a crude thing to say, but it is basically the same thing.
Our blood can't be pumped by any means, other than our heart, because it is inside of our bodies. There has to be air in order to do this, like siphoning gas from your gas tank, and there is no air in our bodies. Again, use your common sense.
To make it out that it is possible to bring the blood to the penis, snake-oils salespeople of these pumps say that once the blood is in the penis, you use a clamp, which is at the base of the pump that you use to clamp your penis, so the blood stays in. They make it out that the pump works. After all, why would they have a clamp, and have instructions on how to use the clamp? Yeah, okay.
We have read articles from Internet magazines that were about penis enlargement alternatives. The writers talked about the dangers of penis pumps, that it can rupture the blood vessels if not used properly. That by itself told us that these so-called writers just made up their articles.
And what about hanging weights? Yes, they can stretch the penis muscle, like any other muscle, but...do you really want to stretch a muscle that you rely on to give you an erection?! It's risky. Besides, the muscle can stretch, at the very most, an inch. It then constricts back to its original size within a couple of days, if not sooner.
The Only Way To Enlarge Your Penis Is With Surgery
Hundreds, perhaps thousands of successful surgeries are done every single day. It is a very common and simple procedure. There is a separate muscle inside your body that attaches to the penis. The bottom of your stomach has to be opened in order to cut that muscle, which in turn releases about ¾ to one inch. It’s sort of like one rope holding on to another rope, taking up the second rope’s slack. Why our sexual organ is made like this, only God knows. After a few weeks of healing time, a small weight is attached to the penis to keep it from constricting during the healing process. The final result is maybe an inch in added length. It's not much, but that is the REALITY of it. Fat is then injected for wider girth. The maximum girth size is maybe an inch.
That’s the ONLY way to enlarge your penis. Even then it still won’t gain you no more than an inch. Maybe the medical profession can do better later on down the road, like they have with breasts implants, but for now that’s all you are going to get.
You may have read articles on this subject that this isn't recommended, because, they state, some studies have shown that suspensory ligament cutting in order to enlarge the penis actually causes a "shortening" of the penis to take place, due to scar formation in the void of the ligament.
Yes, that's true. IF, you chose a doctor who doesn't know what he is doing! It's a little detail that is left out in these articles. Also, con artists who push their herb pills quite often state this. They list all the negatives of penis enlargement alternatives (surgery, stretching, penis pumps), and then they turn around and give you the positives of their pills. It's a typical sales ploy.
Surgery is the only way to enlarge your penis. It's safe, and VERY effective. Look through your yellow pages for such a procedure. If you are considering on doing it, make damn sure you get a good doctor. How long has he been doing this procedure? Are there any complaints logged against him? Check him out! And don’t go by his references. Of course he will have such a list. That doesn’t tell you what kind of a doctor he is, because all doctors have a reference list.
drwhitehead.com is a site run by a Doctor E. Douglas Whitehead, where he gives an overview, with pictures of the procedure. We can't recommend him because we do not know his background. It's better to consult with a doctor in your area, rather from the Internet. For the obvious reason!
